RCI Points is a points-based holiday reservation system. RCI are the world's largest holiday ownership exchange company and currently have over 3,700 top standard affiliated resort destinations in 94 countries.

Where can I use my Points to take holidays ?
Answer.
RCI Points Members may reserve accommodation any week of the year including, in some locations, 2 - 4-day short breaks.
Question.
How many people can I take on holiday with me ?
Answer.
When using RCI Points a member requests the size of accommodation to suit their size of party on any specific occasion. This may vary on every holiday.
Question.
How long a holiday may I take ?
Answer.
Subject to the number of RCI Points a Member has available, holidays can vary from 2 nights at resorts offering short breaks, up to multiple weeks of holiday.

What happens if I don't use all my Points this year ?
Answer.
Your unused RCI Points are annually carried forward.
Question.
What can I do if I have insufficient RCI Points to book a special holiday for this year ?
Answer.
You may borrow up to 100% of next year's allocation.

Do I get the same number of RCI Points to use every year ?
Answer.
Yes. RCI Points are re-credited to a Member annually on the anniversary of the enrolment.

Do I pay an annual membership fee to RCI Points ?
Answer.
Yes. This is currently £71 pa. and is waived for the first year of membership.

Do I pay an annual Management / Maintenance Fee ?
Answer.
Yes. This will vary upon the level of membership taken.

What other benefits are there in being an RCI Points Member ?
Answer.
Apart from the guarantee of top standard accommodation and facilities wherever you choose to holiday, RCI Points can also be used to purchase a wide variety of travel sundries through RCI Points Partners; such as:
Air Flights
Car hire through Avis and Alamo world-wide
Hotel accommodation
Cruises
Cottage holidays in UK and France through the Holiday Cottages Group
Major attractions worldwide.

Do I pay 'per holiday' fees, as in traditional timeshare exchange ?
Answer.
Yes. These are currently:
1. RCI Points resorts = £56 transaction fee per holiday per party
2. RCI Points Short Breaks = £12 per party per night
3. RCI Points Weeks resorts = £99 per party per week in Europe
= £139 per party per week Internationally

Can anyone become an RCI Points Member ?

I am an existing timeshare owner with membership to RCI, can I become an RCI Points member ?
Answer.
Yes. Owners of weeks of occupation rights at RCI Points-approved resorts may cede their ownership rights in return for RCI Points.

Is the purchase of RCI Points a one-off purchase ?
Answer.
Yes.
HOW DO RCI POINTS WORK ?
The number of RCI Points required per holiday are based upon the following:
The actual resort requested
The size of the unit required
The duration of the holiday
The travel dates requested
The time of making a reservation.
